Mrs. Kim Hyatt
I graduated from FMU with a Bachelor’s Degree in Education. I also received a Master’s Degree from Walden University in Reading Literacy and a Master’s Degree in Administration/Educational Leadership from Grand Canyon University. I am married to Billy Hyatt, and we have 3 children. I have been employed with the Latta School District for 15 years and look forward to working with you.

Our Mega Party for the candy sale will be held on April 20th.
Pupils Exercising Against Poverty
In combination with the Interact Club, students in grades 2-5 will be participating in a meaningful fundraiser to raise funds for the needy in our community. Interact is a Rotary-sponsored service club for teens. The program gives young people an opportunity to participate in meaningful service projects while developing leadership skills and making new friends.
As incentives, there will be three prize levels! Students who collect $10 will get to participate in a Fun Day outside. Students who collect $20 will enjoy the Fun Day plus get a Fun Day t-shirt! Students who collect $30 will enjoy the Fun Day, receive a t-shirt, and get to go to a movie with popcorns and a drink! In addition, all students who collect $75 or more will be entered into a drawing to win a new bike!

March 19 – Kick-off Assembly – Students receive collection envelopes
March 19-April 13 – Collect Donations
April 13 – Big Collection Day – All donations turned in to homeroom teachers
May 1 – Fun Day for 2nd and 3rd grades
May 2 – Fun Day for 4th and 5th grades

Signed Papers
Papers from the previous week will go home on Wednesdays. The papers will be stapled with a signature slip on top. Please look at these papers and review any mistakes with your child. Then, students are expected to return the signature slip on Thursday.
Afternoon Transportation
Please send a note to the teacher if your child plans to go home by a method of transportation other than their normal method.
